Countdown untill ballet starts again...

Hey guys...

well another year has come and gone and I'm 24.  Great birthday party even though I missed my family and can't wait for them to come home on Monday.

Ballet starts in 6 weeks :)

I'm not a glutton I'm a food connessuer (sp?)

 Alright so clearly I enjoy food and I don't speak a lick of French. I guess I'm not the summer computer sort of person and more so now that I'm working full time and not in school.  I got a new job this past month.  I'm a restaurant manager. Check out my place at www.bigfoodbigfun.com.  Great place to work - been there as a server for four years now.  Not exactly what I went to school for but I get to make my own schedule most of the time and it keeps me busy.

I'm looking forward to my sister Dassie comming home in a few weeks.  Chesed just moved out to Alberta...is it me or is everyone moving out there?

It's my birthday on Thursday (the big 24) and I think that I'm going to go see a local circus with horses called Avaia. I'm really looking forward to it.  Apparently it comes from Russia and it's supposed to be beautiful.

August 20th I'm in a horse show. I've been training for most of the summer and I think that it will be really exciting.

Well that's it for me.  I'm going to try to update this more than once every three months lol.

The Shrew moved out....

and I don't have to sleep on the couch anymore...I get my own bed and my room back...yeah!

Happy Birthday Chesed and Aviva

Tried really hard to get out of bed this morning...just wasn't working so I missed my first class.  Went to school and decided that it was much too nice outside to stay in school so I left early and missed my last class. So far I have managed to turn what should be an eight hour day into a rather short two hour day, lol.

Was Chesed and Aviva's birthday yesterday.  Wanna know the sure sign that you aren't a kid anymore?  Your mother buys you a bra with wire...yep Viva got her first one in front of the whole family...good thing we have no shame huh ;)

Had dinner with the fam yesterday and it became rather evident that we are filling in for Jacob's absence just fine.  See we've been a family of just girls for about five months now and we don't miss a beat.  We're all just as rude and just as sarcastic as if our dear brother was here with us.  So don't worry Jakie, you can stay in Alberta as long as you like we'll keep filling in for you :)

Today I learned how to write HTML and how to fold a pamphlet...

Wow the first three hours of school was wonderful...not much can be said about the rest of the eight hours I had to spend in a classroom.  I am genuinely considering NOT going to school tomorrow.  I can't believe that they actually made us sit through an entire hour and a half learning the different ways to fold a stinkin' brochure...don't they know that's why you hire a copy place, lol.

Anyhow, looking forward to ballet tomorrow night as I seem to have some pent up aggression...probably due to the lack of sleep (story for another posting) and the crazy assignment chaos that I seem to have walked into at school. Whew...ranting done.

So I have to write a feature article on something.  Has to be about something close to my heart...seems that I have a lot of passion for just about everything so I think I will write about why passion is good in your career choice.  Anyone know any stories or any quotes about passion? Lemme know.
